Abstract

We discussed about some projects in course and next to be constituted in laws of the Colombian state that will modify in a next future doctor’s professional exercise including child neurologists, in the country. These projects include reformations to the 100 law, looking for a great insurance coverings, bigger participation in the organisms of planning and control, incentives to investigation and administration in health and bigger possibility of recruiting independent IPS, be private or public, avoiding monopoly of the EPS.

They talking too about regulation of the exercise, human resource in health, including surveillance, control, professionals’ recertification, labor observatory, recommendations enough formation, regulation of practice places, including university hospitals and some recommendations tariffs list for health personnel. The knowledge of this legislation will allow us to be prepared as professionals and as associations for these changes and in this way be able to interven actively in these processes of change, looking for common benefit as much for the professional team as for the patients and the other actors of the general system of social security.
