Abstract
My work in the leadership of the Colombian Association of Neurology (ACN) began during the presidency of Dr. Eugenia Espinosa (1992-1995), when I participated as a delegate of the Board of Directors and was commissioned to organize the guild committee. At that time, the medical profession was beginning to feel the effects of Law 100 and we tried to make our members aware of the difficult labor situation that awaited us. From that activity we became aware of our scientific soundness but of our labor and union defenselessness, a situation that still persists.
