Abstract
I became president of our Association at the end of 1990, the colleagues who helped me at that time were: Dr. Diego Rosselli (vice-president); Dr. Jorge Eslava Cobos (secretary), Dr. Germán Pérez (treasurer), doctors: Mario Muñoz, Euge nia Espinoza García, Luis Murillo, sometimes also assisted as substitutes: Dr. Leonardo Palacios S., Dr. Rodrigo Pardo and Dr. Camilo Fadul (editors of the Journal), Ernesto Aicardy and Sergio Ramirez (residents).
