Abstract
In the past years, researches have been focused on the study of depression as an early symptom in dementia deve- lopment, especially in people over 65 years old. Researchers have found more cognitive deficit when patients have had depressive episodes; and for that reason they have taken depression as a risk factor for dementia. In summary, this paper focuses on depression as a first sign of dementia syndrome
