Abstract
Lamotrigine is a relatively new molecule in treatment of epilepsy. It has showed acceptable effectiveness controlling seizures from different etiologies. We performed a non-systematic review with respect to lamotrigine and its use in generalized epilepsy reporting good safety profile and seizure control when prescribed as mono therapy or as adjunctive treatment.
