Of Artificial Intelligence and Neurology: Highlights of the XVI Colombian Congress of Neurology

Abstract

As mentioned during the Colombian Conference of Neurology in the city of Barranquilla, we had the challenge and honor of organizing an event that for many had nothing to envy to an international one. With more than 700 health professionals as attendees, and more than 200 people between organization and industry, we increased the number of participants by 34% compared to the previous conference.

There were 12 international and 87 local speakers and we addressed topics in 17 different areas of Neurology. Seven pre-conference workshops were completed and there was a growing interest in topics such as neuroinfectology, neurological intensive care, neurogenetics, neuromujer, among others. When reviewing the satisfaction survey, we found that 98% of the attendees considered that the conference met their academic expectations.
