Abstract
Pupilometry or pupilography are very useful to study autonomic nerve system. This is a diagnostic method easy to perform and very cheap. It allows to study different neurological abnormalities such as Alzheimer disease, neuropsychiatric disorders, sleep disorders, migraine, Parkinson disease and dysautonomias among others. Likewise, it is useful to evaluate extreme exercise and cognitive changes. Pupilometry is also helpful to detect diabetes mellitus at early stages of disease, amiloid and rheumatic disorders. These studies have allowed to know the eye involvement in Chagas disease, one of the most prevalent parasitic disease in Latinamerica
